over twelve years experience in environmental education, Captain
W. Jay Tarkington M.S. will be able to explain complex coastal
processes in an entertaining, easy-to-follow way. As a life
long coastal resident and local historian, Captain Tarkington
makes history come alive with numerous stories about local legend
and lore.
Captain Tarkington is a licensed captain, certified kayak instructor, and two-time Gulf Guardian award winner for environmental education.
